I am 100% not looking forward to being outside tomorrow. I will be really amazed if they actually cancel classes for tomorrow (which I think they should). Luckily, my only two classes tomorrow are both in the same building, so I really won’t have to walk around too much. Plus I only park a few feet away from the building, so it shouldn’t be too horrible. But still, I like the idea of staying at home and sleeping in much better than I do getting up and driving out in the freezing weather!
My mom finally found me the nailpolish I’ve been looking for! After seeing a post at a blog I read ( I can’t remember where now), I’ve been on the search for OPI’s ‘Baby it’s Coal Outside’. Really, it was one of those things that became more of a “I can’t find it anywhere so I need it” mindset. It was part of their holiday collection, so I thought for sure I would never get my hands on it. She told the girl who does her nails that I was looking for it a few weeks ago, and when she went to get them done again, the place had gotten some in!
Thanks everyone for the comments on my new layout. It took me a few tries to get everything working right, but I think I’ve finally done it! I’m going to see if there are any cool plugins I can install to make it look a little better / function better.
Finally the snow has subsided here in Ohio. I was going crazy pretty much being stuck inside Friday and Saturday. Tom came and picked me up after work on Saturday to rescue me from boredom and possible starvation. Speaking of Tom…watch out Internet World, he just got a domain and we’re going to start working on his site soon. He really is much more interesting than me, probably because he doesn’t worry about being offensive as much as I do, and I really think his blog will make for an interesting read, although possibly offend people.
I’m on Spring Break this week, I really have to get some studying done for my Biology and Chemistry tests, but right now I’m just laying around in bed, still in my pajamas. It doesn’t help that I’m an idiot and put a little bit of 2% milk in my oatmeal instead of soy, and now my stomach is angry with me. I don’t get it, I can eat cheese and ice cream fine, but if I have a sip of 2% or 1% milk my stomach goes crazy. Is anyone else like that? It’s like I’m half lactose intolerant.
When is this snow going to stop? It looks like we’re going to get between 10 and 14 inches over the next day or so. I’ve been sitting here, working on a paper, and there’s been at least 3 inches of snow in the past two hours or so. At least I don’t plan on going out anywhere today.
Tom’s been thinking (okay, so I’ve been telling him) about starting a blog. He’s much more interesting than I am, probably because he doesn’t worry about pissing people off as well as a much better writer. I really think it would be something would want to read, but then again maybe I’m biased.
You know, sometimes I liked the way websites were back before there were these things called blogs. It was so much easier to make a design in HTML and not worry about it conflicting with wordpress or anything like that. Now, I find it very hard to make my own wordpress themes, because things just never work how I want them to. On the other hand, I do like the whole getting to interact with your visitors more through comments in blogs. Does anyone have any good tutorials on making your own wordpress themes?
