Post Wedding

The wedding itself, was boring.  My cousin looked beautiful and the ceremony was great.  The reception, now that was fun.  Honestly though, I don’t remember too much of the last hour or so of it.  There was an open bar so I was having Crown Royal and Ginger Ale to drink all night plus a ton of shots.  I was doing okay until I started doing shots with practically everyone that was left.  That includes the bartender and the singer of the band.  I guess I even was talking to someone that called the bartender on his phone.  Even my little brother, he’s 18 so not so little, was doing shots with us.  I actually ended up getting up on the stage with the band and a few other people and dancing which is so unlike me.  My family couldn’t believe I did it.  I have NO clue how I even got changed out of my dress and took out my earrings.

I’m so glad that Tom came too, even though I guess I was running all around once I started drinking.  He said he had fun with my family though, so that’s good.

Patron & Movies

Last night, Tom and I got some Patron for the first time.  I’ve always wanted to try it because I’ve heard of how good it is.  It was pretty good, we did a few shots and I started feeling it sooner than other alcohols.  I don’t know what it is about tequila but that stuff kicks in quick!

Then we watched Wrong Turn 2.  For the most part, it was pretty stupid.  It seemed like practically every scene there was some sort of blood or gore.  There really wasn’t much of a story line to it, that’s one thing that, obviously, made it not so great.  The marine guy that was hosting this “reality show” they were on was the best though.  Then I watched part of Hostel II but I fell asleep before it was done.  I’m really not a big fan of gory movies, yet I talk Tom into letting me watch them.

Birthday

I had an awesome birthday and a great day after my birthday day too. It was filled with lots of drinking (of course) and good food. I’m a little sad it’s all over though because that was pretty much the last “milestone” birthday.
