Thank you to everyone who commented on my last post about Beastie dying. I really appreciate it :) I guess that’s just the way life goes though, so, moving on.
Last night I got home from Tom’s at around 11:30p.m. and saw a package sitting on my front steps. I immediately knew what it was because I just ordered all of my textbooks for Spring Semester. Now, I live in Ohio. Where it was snowing basically ALL day yesterday, so my porch was covered with snow (and had been for several hours). Why the UPS person would place something…that obviously felt like a book (well, no matter what it was) on the porch, IN the snow is beyond me. The book wasn’t that big and could have easily fit in the mailbox (I don’t know if they have rules against that or something though). Or, he could have rang the doorbell. So, one of my books for school now is water damaged on the entire bottom half. I seriously hate UPS’s shipping practices. I’ve had several things delivered by DHL before and have never had a problem. Somehow, everytime I get something from UPS though, there is an issue.
