Computers are a really complicated thing. You're always more comfortable on your own machine than on anybody else's. Again, it's not the Mac vs. PC thing, it's just that we spend a lot more time with our own computer than with somebody else's. And then we're scared that something might go wrong, so we are extra cautious on somebody else's computer so we don't end up clicking the wrong icon, the wrong link and/or changing some settings. Even the keyboards! I'm incapable of typing as fast on my friend's keyboard as I can on my keyboard even though the computers are of the same company and the keyboards have the exact same layouts! I have never been able to figure out why this happens. Maybe it's just in the head. Passwords are very annoying. I always use two accounts, one for me, which is password protected and one for anybody else who needs to use the computer, and that is not password protected because obviously, I don't want everybody to know my password and get full privileges to the computer. And as for using the internet on unconventional devices, it's such a pain in the backside. I can't even use it properly on a phone, leaving phones like the iPhone or the ones with full qwerty keyboards aside. And it's such a pain to write e-mails on the conventional phones too.
